About The Pretty Pittie Shop

The Pretty Pittie Committee is a Foster based 501(c)3 non profit organization that is dedicated to the underdogs, although we are not breed specific, We take pride in being able to provide second chances to the southern shelters and street dogs that deserve so much more then what they have been given especially bully breeds.

We are working endlessly in hopes to decrease the overpopulation of abandoned and unloved dogs and puppies in our area, by encouraging and assisting with local spay and neuters for our community while we educate and advocate for those who have been forgotten, always speaking up for those without a voice. Our goal is to ensure every deserving dog is treated like family, and not property!

Rescue starts with the saddest beginnings, but finishes with the happiest endings. Here we share success stories of some of the best pups that have touched our hearts. What a pleasure to be a stepping stone in their journey to forever.

Grace went from skin and bones... to Happy in a home!

Grace was found by an amazing woman on the streets of Mississippi, after she was left abandoned, starved, scared, skinny, full of every parasite imaginable, but she couldn’t leave her, she agreed to foster Grace, ( her name came because despite the horrible things that happened to this poor girl she still seen love, and trust in humans) her foster mom taught Grace how to be a dog, was patient, and kind, showering Grace with love and affection for 5 long months, while Grace got bigger, stronger by the day, her heart also grew! she loves everyone! Grace and her foster mom had lots of ups and downs because of Grace's health, and after she was finally able to get her heartworm treatment, spayed, and lots of posts on the internet! Grace found a new home ALL the way in Oklahoma! Her new mom knew instantly that she had to have Grace, and drove all the way to Hattiesburg, Mississippi to get her!

We couldn't save them without you!

The pretty Pittie committee saves hundreds of puppies & dogs each year!
And we rely on families and individuals to help us keep them safe!
While we primarily focus on transports to our northern shelter or rescue friends, we still have dogs looking for new homes every day! And all the pups & dogs need a safe place to stay for whatever journey they are on!

TPPC foster program is so simple! Although there is no real pay, the reward of seeing your pet off to their furever home is priceless!

All of our programs are voluntary, and we do provide everything you need to foster! We try our best to make sure that every dog gets the home they deserve!
And fostering is a great way to help animals with very little commitment! By helping our animals become social, you are learning things about them that is important and crucial for them finding the right home! It’s a win win! And besides! Who can resist dog kisses and puppy breath!

**Please note - our foster program is currently only available along the southern gulf coast at this time.**

Help us be part of the change.

The abundance of strays needing homes and vetting is an overgrowing, never-ending problem. The Pretty Pittie Committee prides itself and strives to be a part of the solution. We, at The Pretty Pittie Committee, provide rescue, vetting, fostering, and adoption to the ones in need as much as we can. Our mission and goal is to help eliminate the abuse and euthanasia of animals. However, we would not be who we are or where we are without the your help. Any amount helps TPPC to provide shelter, food, vetting, and love to so many animals until they are able to find their forever homes. Be a part of the solution. Donate below to help us fight our mission and stop euthanasia and give these babies the love that they deserve.

With all of our love,

The Pretty Pittie Committee
